The national team of Greece, as before, almost missed the match which was almost won. In 10 seconds before the end of normal time an excellent played throughout the match 14 year old goalkeeper of Greece Hrisula Diamantopoulou made a mistake. With the account 6:5, taking possession of the ball after a desperate attack of New Zealand, the Greek national team goalkeeper just gave it to the hands of rival Johanna Thielen, and the game moved into an extra time. However, in an extra time a higher class of Greek team was demonstrated.

For my girls today's victory means a lot, as well as six of them are still very young - they are only 14-15 years old. Therefore, it has been very difficult to concentrate on this game after two heavy unsuccessful matches. We have made a lot of mistakes today but our goalkeeper has played very good.
